Welcome to GoTrip. By using our application and website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. User Account Registration

Users must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Ride Bookings & Fares

Estimated fares are shown before booking. Final fares include the base charge, distance charge, duration, and any applicable tolls or taxes.

3. Payment Terms

Users can pay for rides using cash, online payment gateways, or GoTrip Wallet. You agree to pay the complete amount displayed on the invoice upon completion of the ride.

Privacy Policy

GoTrip is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect your location data to match you with drivers and navigate rides. We also collect phone numbers, profile names, and transaction details.

2. How We Use Data

Your data is used to provide ride services, facilitate secure payments, send updates, and offer customer support. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At GoTrip, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction. Below are our policies regarding refunds and cancellations:

1. Cancellation by Customer

You can cancel a ride request before it is accepted by a driver at no charge. If you cancel after a driver is assigned and has moved towards your location, a cancellation fee of up to ₹50 may apply.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds are initiated under the following circumstances:

• Double payment or duplicate debit due to technical/network failures during online checkout.
• Wrongful debit to GoTrip Wallet.
• Ride cancelled by driver after payment was deducted.

Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to the customer's original payment method (Bank Account/Card/UPI) within 5-7 business days.

Pricing & Charges Policy

We maintain absolute transparency regarding our pricing structure. Fares are calculated dynamically based on the following parameters:

• Base Fare: Flat charge for booking the ride type (e.g. Bike, Auto, Caretaker, Prime Cab).
• Distance Charge: Calculated per kilometer of the actual route taken.
• Time Charge: Added in heavy traffic routes to compensate drivers for their time.

All pricing rates are subject to local government transport regulations and zone limits.
